Through calculation and analysis, the reason of piston rod bending is that both ends of boom cylinder incline together with the frame and boom, and the support width is too small, which indicates that the assembly adjustment clearance is not appropriate. The accumulation of sediment in the lower end of the cylinder block and the wear of the lower end of the boom cylinder show that the deposit has accumulated seriously and the rotary friction is large.
Improvement measures include:
1. Increase the support width. Generally, the support width is 1.2 to 1.5 times the diameter of the piston rod.
2. In the assembly process, make full use of the adjusting pad to ensure the clearance and alignment between the two ends of the boom cylinder and the frame and boom, and improve the wear resistance of the adjusting pad material.
3. Improve the discharge structure; increase the opening distance H1 and the inclined angle α of the discharge plate to reduce the accumulation of blanks, which is conducive to the smooth discharge of materials. Increase the discharge of the lower end of boom cylinder to the main engine. The distance H2 is to facilitate the discharge of large-sized stones.
4. The instruction manual specifies the requirements for periodic removal of accumulated materials. After improvement, the piston rod is no longer bent.
